5 Free Tools For Your Small Business

If you’re running a small business, I don’t need to tell you how expensive software can be. There are plenty of free tools out there for those budget minded businesses. . Here are 5 FREE resources I recommend and use almost daily in my own business:

 1. PIXABAY

Pixabay is a free image and video sharing community.  All images and videos are released under the Pixabay License, which makes them copyright free and safe to use. You can still have great images without spending a fortune. You could also try using some of your own pictures, but if that’s not enough, Pixabay is a great option.

2. TRELLO

Trello is a tool for visual team collaboration.  Trello is used to plan, organize and accomplish goals from any device for free! I literally use Trello for everything in my own business from potential client outreach, onboarding new clients, social media, Pinterest, business links, monthly and weekly tasks and goals.

3.  CANVA

Canva is a drop-and-drag graphic design tool website.  You can use over a million photographs, graphics and fonts for web and print design. I use Canva for social media, Pinterest pins, E-books, freebies, templates, branding, videos, Reels and more! While Canva does have a free version, in my opinion it is worth every penny to upgrade to the Pro-version!

4. LATER

Later is a software application used to schedule and manage social media posts. Later is hands-down my favorite scheduling tool for social media! I love the content calendar view so you can view the cohesiveness of your posts. They also offer analytics, static images or video scheduling, and Linkin.bio if you don’t have a landing page for your resources.

5. MAILCHIMP

Mailchimp is free for 2,000 subscribers and 10,0000 emails per month.  You can use Mailchimp for email campaigns which includes a subject line helper, a sign-up form, landing pages, Facebook and Instagram ads all for free!

THE BOTTOM LINE FOR FREE SMALL BUSINESS PROGRAMS

Technology definitely helps to streamline growing your business. But it takes more than just implementing a bunch of tools without thinking about how they will work together. The key is being strategic, which means asking yourself questions like “what do I want my company to look like? Who am I trying to reach with these products/services? What are their pain points?” Once you know what you’re looking for, choose only those solutions that align well with this vision or solution goals.
